These are words the student does not know yet, either because they have not learned the phoneme, the word is tricky, or it needs to be memorized. - WORD SEGMENTING AND BLENDING KIT: Includes 1 instruction card, 60 double-sided cards (10" x 5") with 120 words, 100 magnetic chips (.75"), and 6 magnetic wands (7.6" x 1"). Students read the word, segment the sounds or phonemes by recording their answer with a dry-erase marker, placing chips for each phoneme, and then blending the sounds while picking up the magnetic chips with the magnetic wand, and then finally writing the word.
- DECODABLE READERS FLIP CHART: Measures 12" x 9" with a foldable tent-base for easy display. Includes 30 double-sided pages filled with stories and teaching content. Laminated for use with dry erase markers.
