This set of decodable readers is perfect for phonics instruction or for those teaching using the Science of Reading. This set includes books on two different topics: Vowel Teams by Sound and Diphthongs. For each of the topics, there are five different books so that these can be used with a small group. There are six copies of each book, for a total of 60 books. As students are learning to read, there are words that are decodable, or non-decodable. Non-decodable words in this set are called yet words. These are words that the student does not know yet whether that is because they have not learned the phoneme, or the word is truly one that is tricky, or that they need to know by heart. The topic and yet words are featured on the back cover of each book so that students can practice those word lists so that they are more successful while reading the book. These books come in a box with tabs so that each set of books is easy to find and return. The tabs feature additional content as well as the lists of different words. - WHAT YOU GET: This boxed set includes 60 books which measure 5” x 7” each. You get six copies of each of the ten books. The box is tabbed for easy access to the books. Each tab features additional resources for the teacher. Everything in this set is laminated so that a dry erase marker can be used.
- MULTIPLE COPIES: This set includes ten books, and six each of the ten books, for a total of 60 books. This allows you to use them individually or in small groups. With access to the black-line masters, you can also photocopy the books so that each student can have their own copy to read, color, mark-up, and take home.
