Introducing the I can Filter My Thoughts Activity, a tool for children to practice using a social filter to decide what thoughts are appropriate to say out loud. Using chips with different example thoughts on them, children pass each chip over a series of boxes, each with a different filter question, encouraging them to THINK before they speak! T (Is the thought TRUE?) H (Is the thought HELPFUL? I (Is the thought Informative?) N (Is the thought NECESSARY?) K (Is the thought KIND?) This activity fosters social skills and emotional intelligence, empowering confident interaction amongst students and peers.
