This kit is a set of 66 blocks and 10 cards; 36 Mini Ice Cubes that look like chunks of ice with a transparent blue hue and 30 Mini Stacking Gems come in 2 different sizes and shapes, as well as three different colors, or gems: emeralds, rubies, and sapphires. They are made of a plastic, wipe-clean material. Children can stack and build with them in a variety of ways. They can construct structures, follow the cards and challenge themselves to replicate the picture, or to add to additional block sets for a mixed materials play experience.
- WHAT YOU GET: 36 Mini Ice cubes (slightly less than 1-1/4 inches x 2-1/2 inches x 1 inch thick) and 30 Mini Stacking Gems with 5 each of 3 different designs (red, green, blue) and in 2 different sizes. The large gems range in size from 2” x 2” x 3” to 2” x 2” x 4”. The small gems range in size from 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” x 3” to 2” x 2” x 3-1/4”. This set also includes 10 double-sided cards.
- EARLY STEM: Challenge children’s building and construction strengths by having them construct the largest or tallest structure. Children will learn to problem-solve and adapt their structures by learning what worked or didn’t work each time they build. Also ideal for building on a tabletop, light panel, or in any small space.
- CARDS TO GUIDE: The cards in this set can be used to challenge children to replicate what they see on the card. This helps with their spatial awareness.
- HANDS ON ACTIVITY: There is no better way to learn than to do! This set gives children the ability to construct a variety of structures due to the different sizes and angles contained in each piece.
- LIGHTWEIGHT MATERIAL: These gems are made of a lightweight material washable PETG (Polyethylene terephthalate) plastic with rounded edges and ridges that is safe for children to use, construct with, and play. Due to their plastic makeup, they can also be wiped and cleaned so that they stay sanitary and safe to play with.
