Here are a list of our Frequently Asked Questions

Where can teachers post their wish lists?
At Really Good Stuff, we designed Wishing Well for that very purpose. We welcome all teachers, educators, or education organizations to post their wish lists on our program.
Can any teacher or education organization post a wish list?
Yes! Wishing Well is completely inclusive of all education programs, and anyone can post a wish list for teachers, classrooms, etc.
We welcome anyone working to improve the education of our youth, including public and private school teachers and schools, early head start and head start, school-wide campaigns, PTAs, daycare centers, religious affiliate education programs, after-school programs, Y's, Boys and Girls Clubs, and many more.
How easy is it to create a wish list for teachers?
Creating a wish list for teachers is simple—just tap, swipe and click! We truly believe our platform is the easiest way for educators to create a classroom wish list and share it with potential contributors, all in a single platform. We also make it super easy for contributors to purchase products and communicate with teachers, making it a step above many teacher wish list websites.
What happens if my classroom wish list isn't fully completed?
No worries! You do not need to achieve set goals to receive your supplies. In fact, when a contributor purchases items from your classroom wish list, they will be shipped within days!
How long does the process take to have my wish list live?
As soon as you choose to make your list public, it is available to the world! You can then begin sharing your classroom wish list with anyone who would like to contribute.
Does it cost money for a wish list sponsor to post a wish list?
Not at all! Our program is absolutely free. That’s one of the many benefits of our Wishing Well program over other teacher wish list websites. Not only is our program free, but the platform comes with a whole host of features that make creating and contributing to classroom wish lists a breeze!
Can I keep my wish list private so that only people I choose see it?
Absolutely. If you choose, you can create your wish list, keep it private and share it only with the people you want to know about it. In this case it will not be found via public search.
Do you tell my school if I create a classroom wish list?
No, we do not communicate with your school or program. That choice is completely up to you. Set your wish list to private if you want to keep it hidden, so it can’t be found via public search.
Who owns the items that are purchased?
We leave that decision entirely up to you and the organization you teach at or help. You might decide the items belong to the classroom, school, teacher, students, etc. Wishing Well simply facilitates a platform for educators and classroom wish list contributors to work together for better educating students.
Are contributors' purchases tax deductible?
Though Wishing Well benefits teachers, it is not a 501(c)(3) organization. Please consult with your tax advisor for any questions whether your purchase may be tax deductible.
If my company wants to make a large wish list purchase, can you help us?
Absolutely! We have many ways to assist with white-glove help, where our education specialists can do the shopping for you. Reach out to us at [email protected] to discuss your needs.
Will you send unsolicited messages to contributors?
No, we will not. It is up to the wish list creators to decide how to handle ongoing communications with contributors. We simply host and manage the platform that makes wish lists for teachers and other programs. Our role is to make the process easy to use for educators and contributors, not send unsolicited messages.
How do I find a teacher’s wish list?
For those looking to contribute, we offer multiple ways to search for a wish list for teachers or classrooms. Use Wishing Well to search by school name, teacher, grade, subject, zip code or through our interactive map. If a particular teacher wish list isn’t set to private, contributors should be able to find it through our search feature.
We'll walk you through every step of the way!
