With the Stretch-a-Sentence Journal, children learn to expand their thoughts and ideas into detailed sentences. By asking and answering who, what, when, where, why, and how, kids learn to elaborate on simple sentences to paint a picture so the reader can better understand what the young writer is trying to tell them. The journal also includes space for kids to write their own sentences, and handy tips that every young writer needs to know!
