Help Children Practice Sight Words in a Sensory, Hands-on, Self-Checking Way!
Help children develop a hands-on understanding of sight words as they learn to type on a keyboard. This engaging activity can be done individually or in pairs. Students develop confidence as they recognize common sight words and build on their reading fluency and word recognition. This activity features two 10” x 4” keyboard pop fidgets printed with capital letters and 100 top sight word activity cards with self-checking backs. Children develop reading skills and fine motor skills, while growing their independence and getting the calming sensory input they need! For additional fun, children can practice writing the words on the cards with a dry-erase marker!
- WHAT YOU GET (SIZE/DIMENSIONS/COLORS): 2 blue keyboard fidgets with capital letters printed in black ink and 100 sight word practice cards with self-checking backs in two color-coded levels. Level 1 cards are blue (sight words 1-50), and Level 2 cards are orange (sight words 51-100)! Keyboards and double-sided laminated cards are approximately 10” x 4”.
