It’s easy to set up a multitude of interactive possibilities using the included Really Good Activity Guide and get your students involved in letter-matching and vowel activities with the Alphabet Arch Literacy Center. - WHAT’S INCLUDED: The Alphabet Arch Literacy Center includes a complete set of 52 color-coded uppercase and lowercase foam non-magnetic Letters (1" by ¾" each), 2 double-sided write-on wipe-off game Mats (18½" by 11" each), I laminated Task Card (9"by 6"), a Plastic Bag with Hanger (11" by 13¼"), and a Really Good Activity Guide with activities and ideas for use.
- INTRODUCE LETTER RECOGNITION: Create a center to help your students recognize the upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet. One Mat features uppercase letters, and one Mat features lowercase letters providing lots of ways to use them alone or together for fun, hands-on activities.
- STRENGTHEN WORD ATTACK SKILLS: You’ll find that teaching, reinforcing, and creating centers for beginning letters and vowel sounds is easy with the interactive Mats and Letters.
- SUPPORT VOWEL RECOGNITION: Introducing and practicing beginning and medial vowel sounds is an interactive activity using the vowel sides of the Mats. You can add another level by having students use dry-writer markers to label the Mats with the long and short vowel symbols.
