I use these chapter book bins in my classroom library and absolutely love them. They fit so many more books than I thought they would. To give you an idea about size, I have Magic Treehouse #1-30 in one bin (paperbacks) and the students still have room to flip through the books to see them. They even fit larger chapter books like Big Nate and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. They are heavy duty which I need with my young students. I loved the first set so much I ordered more to display my National Geographic and leveled readers because, yes, they fit perfectly as well. I have redone my entire classroom library with these bins and it not only looks great but it makes the books more accessible for my students. My only wish is that they weren't so costly so that I could buy more.

Worked great for my classroom library!
I used these bins to sort my classroom library by lexile level and genre. They are perfect for chapter books! I purchased them without the dividers, as I wanted each bin to house a different genre, and the dividers were not necessary for my use. I love the sturdiness of the containers and the bright colors. I purchased a set of 12 in all the same color, and my classroom library looks very neat and clean. I get lots of compliments on it, and it's easy for the students to use.

Do not work with small leveled book
In my classroom library I use smaller bins for my leveled readers (I teach first grade). I don't have chapter books but I figured the size of the chapter book vs. leveled readers would be comparable but unfortunately it was not. I ended up having to return them but if I had more chapter books they would have been great to use! The size of them and quality was great!

Plastic Covers Fall Off
I am so happy with these tubs which I used all last year in our Library. However, the plastic covers do not fit the labels. I finally got rid of them, printed new labels and laminated them. Still not perfect but better than picking up clear plastic label covers all day. Otherwise, the tubs are just what you will want!

Inferior to the previous product
The dividers simply do not stay put in the bins. They also take up the space of one hardcover book each, so they ultimately store LESS than the previous bins. Also, the holes in the rim for the dividers weaken the structure; one arrived damaged near a rim hole. Bummer!
