This soft blue die is a fantastic calm-down tool whenever you need to quickly grab children’s attention and transition to another fun activity. Because this die is soft and squeezable, it can easily be handled by small hands eager to take turns tossing it. Simply roll the die, and let one of the 12 sides determine what action students should take next. Multiple precision-cut surfaces are printed with clear text and graphics that also serve to help build a child’s vocabulary and spelling skills.
If that doesn’t do the trick, a teacher can always opt to roll the dice until a satisfactory strategy presents itself. Kids can also be polled as to how many want to do a specific calming activity. There are so many possibilities with this fun dice and it’s a positive complement to other SEL behavior management calming tools.
