I teach first grade and bought this because of the limited display space I have. The larger blue calendar is too big. I like the size, the storage, and the laminated pieces. I just wish the permanent wrinkle through the middle would go away. I have it on my white board and it will not lay flat. I also would like to have calendar inserts that fit the small pockets.

Has stood the test of time
I have had this calendar for 4 years. It still looks great. I know it is small, but that was one of the reasons I liked it. My 4th grade students update it for me every month. My only complaint is I wish there was a refill pack. Some of my birthday cards are beginning to look a little messy.

I used this in my fourth grade classroom for the entire school year last year. It is just okay -- a lot of goods and bads.
Bads:As other reviewers have noted, it is a bit on the small side. Students on the far side of my room can't see it clearly at all. It is also slightly difficult to keep all the cards organized (even with the provided pouch) and to change them out each month. I have student helpers to do this each month, but they inevitably require some help. My most notable gripe is that it doesn't even come close to hanging flat against the surface as shown in the illustrations here. Mine is very "poofy" and hangs as though it has been folded like a fan (horizontally zigzagged). Since it isn't flat, the slight glare of the clear pockets makes it even more difficult for students to see/read.
Goods: While a bit challenging to keep them all organized, I do really like the array of choices for customizing this calendar. I appreciate that it has the magnetic option -- which I use to securely hang in the front of the room on an old chalk board next the the smart board. The quality is very good and I know I can use it again and again in the school years to come.
Again, all-in-all it is just okay. It really needs to be just a 'tad' bigger, and it should hang neatly and flat against the surface -- would be much better.

I ordered this for my 1st grade classroom. It is waaaaaaay too small. I won't be able to use it unfortunately.

Nice, teeny calendar
I bought this calendar for my 2nd grade classroom. I was tired of the extra large, dark blue pocket chart that took up too much wall space I used in Kindergarten. I wasn't sure where I was going to put it in my room when I purchased it. My room doesn't have a lot of bulletin board space. I thought I might hang it with 3M hooks, but I ended up using the magnet to attach it on my dry erase board. I love it! It is a little smaller than I would have liked, but it works well. It's very sturdy. I love the colors. You do have to cut all the pieces out, but they are already all laminated and sturdy. The date cards pockets are about 1x1". Things are printed on both sides. You can choose between full words "Sunday" or abbreviations "Sun." The cards include many years (I didn't check, maybe past 2023?). I also like how the holiday, birthday, and special event cards were created to work in the chart. Mine is still so new that it isn't completely flat yet, but I think it will as time goes on. I recommend
