I have used this for years in small teaching groups. I use one for each child, so they can have individual access to pocket charts and magnetic boards. We use the pockets for everything from work with numbers, phonics cards, sentence building strips, etc. Students practice skills on the white boards. The magnetic boards also allow for any individual activity using magnetic letters, numbers, picture cards, etc. I find this an absolutely indispensable teaching tool! I also appreciate that it folds down for summer storage. As if that's not enough, the students love using them and they make differentiating instruction easier as well.

Pocket Chart and dry erase board combo
I used this product mostly for math this summer. I could show equivalent fractions/decimals with the small cards I made. This made it easy to use at the table while I worked with groups. The children loved being able to manipulate the cards.

Great for Small Groups
This product is great for small groups. It is small, so I am easily able to move it around the room to where I am meeting with students.

Portable - Saves Space
I use the desktop pocket chart at a table with small groups, primarily with a magnetic 10-frame, magnetic base-10 blocks, and magnetic bills/coins. Students can manipulate the magnets to demonstrate comprehension, but it's a more intimate setting than using the big white board. I like that it's portable and easy to store when not in use.
Our "roaming" Spanish teacher was thrilled to see mine. She is getting one to carry with her from class to class.

Ordered 14, got one faulty pocket chart.
They are exactly what we need for our Reading class.
