Just what I expected

These are great for small group work and having children read aloud individually to me. I do not know the exact reading level (letter) but on the Scholastic sight it is recommended for 4-8 grade. I have used it for the second and third as well as fifth. Print is a bit on the small side so if you have children who struggle with tracking or reading in general, this is a problem.

I just would like to know more about the stories- what sort of stories are they? Also what grade level or more importantly reading level are they at? I haven't used them myself I only gave 3 stars so I wouldn't change it's rating.

Limited usage

I like it BUT I'd rather have an entire class set of one book. Rather have all students doing the same thing at the same time.

Great for group work!

This set is perfect for small group work. It reinforces literary elements by reading text, promoting discussion, and finalizes by providing work sheets directly related to the element.
