I have been using 20 of these cots daily in our preschool for the past 9 years and ordered 20 more when we expanded last year without even considering a different selection. They are as study as any other cots I have used in the past 30 years and better than most. They really do take half the space. They have been easy to clean and the frames are still pretty straight in spite of the occasional jumping student and teachers who sit on them with out thinking about the weight rating.
The children do use the play stations, but the staff find them awkward to relocate at rest time.
Problems have been few and mostly due to operator error, but you may want to know that : after 6 years, we had a few corners of plastic that bent and were a scraping hazard but we were able to correct that with a nail file; after the second year a staff member started dropping 4 stacked cot in each area of the classroom and we discovered the fins that fit inside the legs were breaking and told her to stop (this has not cause any problems; small toys sometimes get stuck in the fins; the table top started to crack at the corners after 8 years (but I am ordering a replacement); we find the first cot a little challenging to place squarely on the carrier and if you are used to using cot that are more square it will take a while to get used to not being able to lean them against the wall. If you are used to leaving the bedding on the cots for a week at a time you may have adjust to leaving only the sheet on the cots as the space in between is too narrow for pillows or folded blankets.
