I use these to call for students to respond instead of raising their hands. Kids enjoyed decorating their own

I use these student sticks to take attendance. The kids may decorate them any way they wish, which they enjoy. I have a chart that keeps track of who's here/who's not.

Student sticks morning roll call
I will label these with the students names Then I attach a magnet. Then I'll let them decorate their own stick.
I use these for attendance and lunch count. The students get their stick from a magnetic board by the door in the morning and place it on my magnetic board that has the 2 choices for lunch or lunch box. that way I know who's here AND I have the lunch count already to send to the lunchroom. Then as we line up for lunch the students get their stick and place it on the board by the door as they go to lunch and its ready for the next morning.
Students love having something with their name on it! And they love designing it themselves
I've use craft sticks with and without stickers in the past. So this should be almost perfect. just need the magnets.
