The numbers need to start with zero or at least have an actual number line at the top like some of your other name plates. My students would not be able to use this for addition or subtraction.
Really Good Stuff Response: Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding our Desktop Helper with a number path (instead of a number line) This product was designed to accommodate the increasing use of number paths over number lines. Number paths are preferential to many kindergarten and first Grade programs for several reasons: Number lines can be confusing as students have to count the "hops" they take between numbers instead of counting the numbers themselves. Students' fingers can land in the spaces between numbers on a number line, leaving them unsure which number to choose. A number path is a counting model whereby each number is represented within a rectangle and the rectangles can be clearly counted. Many teachers feel a number path provides a more supportive model of numbers to help students build confidence and accurately solve problems. We hope this helps to clarify.

Numbers need to start with zero not one. Can't use it to add or subtract!
Really Good Stuff Response Thank you for your feedback. The Numbers you see on the Desktop Helper are not a number line, (which would begin with zero). This helper was designed with a number path. For a more detailed explanation, please see the above review citing the key differences between use of number paths vs number lines. We apologize for the confusion. Thank you for being a Really Good Stuff customer.
