Great Start of School Year Project and more

My students love the cubes. They are a Great Start of School Year Project and since my district is very transient, they are also a great way to welcome new students into the family. They also provide a momento for kids who have left and are missed. Love the quality and durability. Can literally stack them anywhere...May be a bit pricey but what isn't?

Perfect Open House Keepsake

My students complete the cube and have it out on their desk for Open House in the Spring. Each week in my class a different child takes turns leading the line. For a quick writing activity on Fridays, each member of the class practices writing a one-sentence specific compliment about the line leader. It could be ______________ is really good at ____________. or a more specific memory of a time that the line leader showed a positive character trait. I collect these secret messages throughout the year and then put them inside the students' cubes. They love coming in and opening their cubes - on the outside is how they see themselves and on the inside are tons of compliments from their classmates - they delight in reading what others say about them and feel so proud of themselves. I have used these for a couple years now and it's really a meaningful tradition that several families have mentioned that they appreciate!

All About Me Cubes

Our Kindergarten team uses these at the end of the school year. By this time the children are able to do them by themselves. They are sturdy enough to last a long time and the children have memories of their Kdg. year. It also helped to get them at a discount.

I like this product very much. It's sturdy enough for kids to use as a personal die during center activities as well as spotlighting their character traits.
