Small but well designed.

Upon receiving this, I was disappointed in just how small it is. However, since I've just completed a huge painting job of my classroom walls and redesigned how I am using bulletin boards it works very well. I am able to display just the right examples, with appropriate labels, for the beginning of the year geography unit. What a nice surprise!

Small but informative!

I used this in my Social Studies corner for a reference for the students to use. It is very complete with information about a lot of types of maps or map features. It is smaller than I expected but is still good for small groups to come up and get information from.

Outstanding Bulletin Board Set!!

I put these materials up for the start of the new school year. Since this was the first topic for Social Studies, I wanted to capture students attention when they walked in the classroom. I found the materials colorful, and appropriate for a 5th grade class. Since NYS has multiple ability levels in each classroom, of which I have many, I have been able to use the bulletin board for small and whole group instruction.

I bought this on a whim. I ended up LOVING IT! I used it to create a trifold on poster board so I would have an instant bulletin board. It aligns to the new Social Studies Standards in FL and that was an added bonus. Ideal for 3rd grade curriculum, although I can see it being used just about any age/grade.
