late homework

A great communicator with parents. I write missing homework instead of late, because I don't except late homework. Students respond well to it and have no problem signing it. It is also great for record keeping.

Love this product!

I use this product daily. If a student doesn't turn in their homework, I fill this out and staple the original in their agenda. I file the carbon copy. Then when entering in grades I look back at all my carbon copies of late homework and deduct points depending on how many each child received. Definitely keeps me organized and so easy to use.

Very Handy!!

I love being able to slip the copy in a file for future reference during conferences. I only wish it came with a strong cardboard flap to prevent words from going through more than one copy. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. It's easy enough to find something for this purpose though.

This is my favorite teacher tool

I started using this a few years ago to help me stay organized. When a student doesn't turn in their homework on time I fill out the slip (if you teacher older kids they could fill it out on their own) and then I staple it into their agenda. They take it home and must bring it back with a parent signature and their late homework. I think keep the copy on file. When I am entering in grades for homework I go back and look at my copies of late homework slips and that helps me know how many points to give each student. It is so easy!
