Que pesar!

Que lastima que no se pueda utilizar el centro por que las sílabas vienen por los dos lados. No entiendo por que las hicieron asi. Existe alguna forma especifica de utilizar este centro? Is there a specific way to use this center because I find it very difficult to use it if we have double side syllables.

Correction to my First Review

This is a correction to my last review. The syllable cards have one syllable on the front, for example, "ba" and another on the back, such as "ta"... so it is impossible to file them under the correct letter since they can't be put into two pockets at once. It's also very difficult to find the syllables needed since some of them are on the back of the cards and not in their correct letter pocket. But if you make your own syllables and file them in the pockets, it is a wonderful center and my students love it.

Somewhat Useful

The basic concept of the pocket chart itself is great for a small group of students to share, especially during their center time. However, I was very disappointed with the actual syllable cards, because each card has a syllable with one letter on the front and another letter on the back. This makes it impossible to sort them and place them in the correct letter pockets...and even more difficult for my students to find the syllables in order to create words. So I removed all of the syllable and letter cards and made my own from sentence strips. I Iaminated them and cut them out. Now my students can use the chart and they love it. m
