I send home 3 books, sight word cards and writing HW every night as a Reading Recovery teacher. These pouches are durable except the 2 lighter colors get extremely dirty. I would like to suggest that the manufacturer change to a forest green and maybe purple so stray pencil/ marker marks do not show quite so much. After washing the darker colors will be useable for the next few years. I can't seem to get the lighter colored bags as clean as I'd like.

I ordered these pouches several times from the end of last school year and the beginning of this school year. I agree that the yellow and green do not hold up as well as the red & blue pouches. They are also expensive and should include a name tag insert being that the clear plastic slot is there and names are shown in the picture - it should be the given. Good product - just need to make sure that the quality of the product is the same no matter what color or sell at discounts if they are "irregular".

Beware of the Yellow Pouches! :(
These were the perfect book pouches for my firsties this past year...or so I thought. I took them home to clean over the summer and was so sad to realize that the inside lining of all the yellow pouches was completely falling apart. It was a very expensive year of pouches. Green, Red and Blue have held up well though.

Medium Book Pouches
I use these with my Reading Recovery students to take books back and forth from school to home. I machine wash them when they get dirty or at least at the end of every year. They wash fairly well and hold up for about 2-3 years.

Instead of backpacks
Perfect for Pre-K and Kindergarten students, for whom backpacks are really not suitable.MH
