The Best Eraser Ever

When my new students arrive in September, they will find gift bags on their desks. Some of the "gifts" are items, like a new glue stick, that would have been distributed anyway. I also include other things like these colorful erasers that I have obtained from Really Good Stuff. We make a lot of errors in second grade, and these pointy erasers allow much more control. They are durable and last several months at least. The paper wrapper keeps the bottom of the eraser fresh until it is needed. The variety of colors means that a dropped eraser is more easily identified by its owner, or a least a more alert neighbor. I give out more of these erasers after winter and spring break for successful erasing all year long. I use one myself when I do the NYT crossword on the weekend. I love these erasers!
