I have purchased similar book pouches in the past and found the ones I bought last year from another provider had a little more room to include a folder--where we keep our weekly book review/journals. Folders fit in these but very snug. I am not sure they will withstand my first graders poor motor skills. lol

Not impressed with the quality
I used these pouches for reading bags. The plastic and velcro patches did not hold up. I have only had them for two years. Each and every bag has holes in the bottoms of them. Some were so big I had to throw them away. The others I have tried to use duct tape to get one more year out of them. It's embarrassing but I can't afford to buy more since they are not cheap!

Book Bags Tear
These used to be durable and I could get 2-3 years out of them, but the last 2 batches I received are ripping easily around the velcro area. Disappointed!

Great Bags -Slow Delivery!
I purchased these last year and was pleased for the most part. A couple of the bags ripped where the velcro was. I suspected that it was probably due to these two children not taking the proper time to open the bag properly. This year I ordered the bags again before Labor Day! The Parents of my students paid the [$] for each bag. I was embarassed to tell them that as of Sept. 27th, I have still not received my order. I paid with a credit card. It was not until I called to check on my order that I was told that they were back ordered. This is something that I should have known up front. So as I wait for the bags, I had to go out to buy Ziploc bags to use in the meantime. I had to tell my parents that they did not pay [$] for a ziploc bag. You are always so prompt! I am so disappointed this time!

About Me: Quality Oriented
Great pouches that really do the job!
I bought a class set of these a couple of years ago for each of my first grade students to use as a math tool kit. In it they store their 100 grid, ruler, math template, dice, calculator, coins, a clock, and a set of unit blocks for place value. They are kept in their desks and taken out as needed for hands-on math lessons. This will be my third year using them and not one is ripped or torn. I was hesitant to buy them at first due to the cost of 24 of them, but they have made my life much easier, have helped promote student organization, and have definitely held up under lots of use. Well worth the investment!
