I have seen something similar used in other classrooms before and really wanted to use it. Unfortunately this design does not work. The chart names are smaller than I would like. However the real fail here comes with the pocket chart. It is not specifically designed for the labels so they are not protected and keep falling out.

Chose not to use
I've used a self-created clip chart and thought this product would "spiffy-up" and replace my simple chart. When I received the chart, I was surprised by how small it is . I should have looked more closely at the specs. Also, the price is quite high and I believe it's because the chart comes with a pocket chart to hold each card. There are also colored clips, but I won't use the clips because I don't want my students to associate their clip colors with the chart colors...who would want a red clip? So, while the product is nice and bright, I think it's too pricey, too small, and was an impulse buy on my part.

I have been using this for two years now and I love it. I read some of the other reviews, and unlike some others, I have not had any problems with my clothespins breaking. I also read that some people were upset with the design and want each section the same size, however, I love the design the way it is. My students are rewarded if they are in the green or higher at the end of each day. Everyone starts on the green, but not everyone moves out of the green. This has worked perfect for me.

Good product but too small
I love this pocket chart but I wish it was bigger. I happen to have a very well behaved class and have a lot of students that move up on the pocket chart so I wish the top colors were bigger so all the clips would fit. Love the pocket chart other than that. :-)

Great idea but way too small
I hope you will rethink the design of this product! I have been using this clip system for years and really wanted to buy one and not have to make another of my own again. I will have at least 28 students again this year, the idea is to move them above the green level, you need to make all of the rectangles bigger. Also, there needs to be a magnet on the bottom. I don't care if you are going to include the clothes pins, but if you do they need to be sturdy enough to not break. I don't know how other's do it but all of my kid's start with red clips and get a sticker every time they get to purple. When they get 4 stickers they get a new clip. They move thru the colors of the rainbow with clips with the goal being a sparkle clip at the end. I love Really Good Stuff, but hope you will rethink this design!!
