They hold so much! They are a great storage and organization tool in my classroom. So far, I have not had any rip or tear. Dirt is easily wiped off. I can add their names to the back using the plastic card holders so I can easily change groups.

I bought a class set for my 2nd graders. They material used seemed sturdy. After 1 week of school 1 of them ripped at the silver button. For the expensive price charged, these should be able to withstand a 2nd grader putting her materials in and taking them out much longer than 7 days. Would not buy these again.

I got a class set to use with my second graders last year and by the end of the year several of them had ripped because the silver buttons and threading were not holding them together. They were great while they lasted.

Students store materials in pouches (pencil pouch, whiteboard, expo marker, and eraser.) They look great but they are not very durable. My students used them about 1/2 of the year last year and 3 or 4 are already ripping at the seams. They did not store books or anything heavy in them.

We use tables rather than desks so the chair pockets solve the problem of storage for notebooks, binders, etc. I use them on the small (first grade) chairs and they are a bit wide, but any smaller won't hold binders. Students store materials with binded side up and the pockets typically hold up for the year with a few exceptions. I try to get two years out of them before the grommets give out. I order one set just to have back-ups. This year I ordered a class set b/c I wanted the black. So far like the black better than the blue. My only issue is that they are soooo expensive.
