Students can display their 100th Day collections - cereal, pasta, stickers, buttons, or other small items - by gluing them onto 10 strips of 10 circles each. Each student decorates the band, then, with help from a grown-up - assembles the flat pieces into a colorful crown to wear on that special day.

Quick solution to 100 Day Hats

This was the best purchase for me! I usually have parent helpers who make something very similar to this by hand. Since I don't have any regular parental help this year, except for special days, I did not know what I could do. I bought these hats and it took only 5 minutes of prep. Just make sure you buy 2 sets because they come in dozens. I bought 2 sets thinking there were 24 in a set and I'd use one set next year. I ended up using both sets so it took me a total of 10 minutes to prep. I have the students put 10 stickers on each colorful strip. With the ten spaces clearly marked with white circles, I didn't have students put more stickers on than they needed. I teach Kinder.

100th Day Counting Crowns

We really like these crowns. We have our Kinders use their scissors to cut along the perforation. We also buy the Bright Smiles stickers to put on the crowns. The kids love putting the stickers on and it keeps them busy. Yes, the teachers have to help put the crowns together. We have other 100th Day activities going on so we can get to all students.

Not Great

I purchased the crowns for 100 days of school. Way to difficult for first graders to do.

Expensive and REALLY not worth it

My first grade colleague and I bought these for our classes for the 100th Day. The project required the students to rip along perforated lines, a task too difficult for most first graders to do independently without ripping and ruining the crown. I was also really disappointed to see that the project didn't come with stickers or something to put on the dots. The construction o the crown itself had to be done primarily by me, which I was disappointed about- I'd rather do a project that my students can construct on their own. The completed crowns were rather lopsided, too .
