Warehouse Facilities Supervisor

Really Good Stuff – Kansas City, MO

Our Warehouse Facilities Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the facility and equipment in good working order. Must be computer literate, have experience with online inventory control systems. Flexible schedule is a must, may be called in to facility at any hour. Summer hours will include a six day work week. This is an hourly position with potential for overtime

Essential functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Repair and maintenance of Lift equipment, Conveyor & Packing equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of boxes, storage and supplies.
  • Pallet management
  • Recycle and trash management
  • Provide technical support to team
  • Communicate and follow-up on daily information
  • Support facility and department guidelines, processes, and SOP's
  • Provide day-to-day communication and support to manager and team

  • Monitors environment for safety, cleanliness and conformance to Company standards

Our Warehouse Order Processing /Floor Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating order processing. Provide complete customer satisfaction with quality, efficiency and accuracy in shipping orders to our customers through the U.S. and Canada.

Really Good Stuff – Shelton, CT

Under the general supervision of the Purchasing Manager, analyzes forecasts and stock reports and orders proprietary products based on lead times, MOQs, restocking levels, sales trends; manages foreign & domestic supply base to provide JIT inventory.

Essential functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manages foreign and domestic suppliers for assigned product lines, to deliver on time deliveries of quality product in support of sales plan.
  • Mana finished goods inventory availability and works to minimize backorders for assorted product lines including but not limited to custom corrugated, molded plastic, carpets, pencils, and other proprietary classroom supplies.
  • Executes purchase orders, and negotiates all terms and conditions with vendor base relevant to scheduled delivery times, payment terms, returns, chargebacks, and discounts.
  • Analyzes various forecasting/inventory reports and collaborates with merchants to define optimum inventory and restocking levels and plan ordering form suppliers accordingly.
  • Actively seeks out cost savings and cost reduction and rebate opportunities with vendors; negotiates coop agreements; creates forecasts of savings and reports on actual vs projected
  • Manages vendor production to forecast and vendor warehousing of finished goods, to reduce lead times, optimize cash flow, and reduce risk of obsolescence.

Director, E-Commerce

Really Good Stuff – Shelton, CT

The Director of eCommerce will be responsible for creating the eCommerce go-to-market vision and execution strategy for the US market. The Director of eCommerce is responsible for collaborating with Local and Global cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including; business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, web analytics, web technologies and customer service.

Role Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the company’s eCommerce business strategy development
  • Serve as a Local and Global liaison and primary point of contact within the organization for cross functional partners acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test eCommerce initiatives
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the eCommerce strategy
  • Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, QA and execution of content across the websites and online marketing campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups on remarketing tactics to drive eCommerce conversion through the funnel by evaluating opportunities to use 2-way marketing vehicles (e.g., chatbot) to drive conversion
  • Analyze and optimizes performance of discount/promotion offers (e.g., right-leveling free shipping offers, cutting low incrementality profit dilutive promos)
  • Increase sales performance by effectively managing 3rd party etailer sites like Amazon and Walmart to ensure that Really Good Stuff is best in class in terms of positioning prominence, content relevance, customer satisfaction, internet specials and overall merchandising mix. Curate and personalize product bundles and cross-category opportunities to drive basket
  • Work with analytics and site operations to define merchandising segments and merchandise appropriately to increase sales performance of each segment. Review daily performance of products on etail platforms and make real-time adjustments to optimize across all platforms. Ensure in-stock rates for top-selling products
  • Optimize site experience and work with technical partners to identify and implement mobile and cross-platform experience enhancements
  • Identify and drive personalization opportunities (e.g., site personalization, product recommendation, post-purchase offers, next best offer)
  • Shape and execute rapid test and learn cycles (e.g., A/B testing of site, offer/promo)
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive analytics (e.g., basket analysis, promo effectiveness analysis, churn analysis) to derive consumer insights

Qualification

Education: BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a focus in business analytics preferred. MBA desired but not required

Experience: 5-8 years of experience with/related to eCommerce, digital marketing, sales, marketing and/or similar role with a proven analytic track record. The candidate must have strong functional/technical skills and aptitude for process management and cross functional leadership. The candidate must have had a strong working relationship with Amazon in a previous role and experience with onboarding to an In-Network and Drop Ship relationship with Amazon. SAP Hybris experience preferred.

Professional Skills: Expert-level experience with eCommerce portals including Amazon. Highly motivated worker/thinker and team-oriented. Strong organization and analytic skills as well as attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities. Comfortable working with complex data across multiple sources to inform and develop actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Warehouse Receiving Associate – 2nd Shift

Our Warehouse Associates in Receiving are responsible for product movement through the warehouse and providing complete customer satisfaction through their focus on quality, efficiency and accuracy in shipping our orders to our customers through out the U.S. and Canada.

This position is second shift Monday-Friday with seasonal overtime with shift differential. Initial 90 day performance review period is pay rolled through a staffing agency we partner with. After 90 days qualified candidates are hired as full Really Good Stuff employees and full benefits are offered including medical, dental, vision, life, injury, illness, 14 days of paid time off within first 12 months of employment and paid Holidays.
