Warehouse Associate – Receiving/Replenishment

Really Good Stuff – Kansas City, MO

Our Warehouse Associates in Receiving/Replenishment are responsible for product movement through the warehouse and providing complete customer satisfaction through their focus on quality, efficiency and accuracy in shipping our orders to our customers through out the U.S. and Canada.

Essential functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Facilitate workflow and quality control of all inbound functions
  • Communicate and follow-up on daily information
  • Support facility and department guidelines, processes, and SOP’s
  • Stocking, inventory control, cycle counts and processing returned goods
  • Some record keeping skills
  • Keep work environment and warehouse clean and free of debris
  • Be an active participant in continuous improvement activities

Typical work schedules are Mon-Fri. Seasonal overtime will be required as well as flexibility in scheduling. Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to perform work quickly and accurately
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment (reach truck, cherry picker and rider)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on the task at hand
  • Thrive in a team-oriented work environment
  • Flexible to work overtime as needed

Warehouse Second Shift Manager

Really Good Stuff – Kansas City, MO

Under the general supervision of the Distribution Center Director, manages all functions related to Replenishment and Order Processing for the 2nd shift warehousing operations and associates.

Essential functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage all 2nd shift activities associated with replenishment, order fulfillment and shipping
  • Manage hourly direct labor & supervisory staff assigned to 2nd shift
  • Develop capacity planning and headcount requirements to support order volumes, including seasonal/temporary/part time labor
  • Analyze on going status of new and pending orders; balance order fulfillment functions to support daily shipping targets
  • Maximize processes to meet & exceed Company targets for order turnaround, picking accuracy, and cost reductions.
  • Analyze 2nd shift operations and develop/implement improvements
  • Provide leadership to supervision and hourly staff to develop and achieve goals. Implement effective training procedures for full-time and temporary staff
  • Develop standards, measurements and expectations for process throughout; monitor and measure actual performance of various functions vs. standards, and act accordingly
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and OSHA/ADA compliant environment in all operational areas
  • Implement strategies and processes to reduce stocking and picking errors to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Support facility and department guidelines, processes and SOP’s
  • Assist Director with special distribution and order fulfillment related projects
  • Manage facility and operations as necessary in absence of Director

Basic mathematical skills and the ability to read English are required.
