I have used these chairs for 11 years in kindergarten and fist grade. You cannot put anything in it except folders and papers so do not buy it for anything else. I use mine for their finished work and mail. Just wish they would sell additional pencil pouch like they use to when I first started to use these.

Mine got holes the first year I used them. I been taping the holes with duck tape because I spent so much on these chair pockets.

Love the chair pockets!
I have used my Chair Pockets for several years. The students put their seat work papers in them. I don't think they would hold up many hard back books in them. It serves the purpose that I need. It is easier for the student's to keep track of their papers.

Store More, Stress Less
Over the past 15 years I have purchased 3 classroom sets. The pouches are well-made and allow for much needed extra storage since students have so many books in their desks. They reduce the need to constantly have students pass out folders, notebooks, materials, etc. It is wonderful that they are machine washable--you just have to follow the washing directions. My third grade students used the pencil pouches every single day each year. Each student kept multiple folders, two notebooks, a library book, and a homework binder in his/her chair pocket. They will last for years so long as students don't pull unnecessarily on them.

I have used 24 pockets for one year in a 3rd grade classroom. We have pencils and erasers in the zip pocket. None of my pencil pockets zippers have broken. We keep things we use daily in the pocket for easy access. The kids store chapter books, a notebook, and a workbook in the big pocket part. Only one of mine tore on the side. I washed them on gentle (hung to dry) and they look brand new! We have a "you break it, you fix/buy it rule" so the kids really take care of them as well as our other supplies from RGStuff! I am hoping that they last another year. I am ordering more this year because I am getting more students!
