My son has Down syndrome and he loves to use this. His whole 1st grade class uses them actually. When I go to volunteer I have seen them use this for quiet reading. So I decided to get one for my house too! My son't speech therapist likes it too.

These are wonderful tools to use when young readers are starting out. They can hear their own voice sounding out words or chunks with out disturbing the children around them. A must have in k-2 classrooms!
