This is great for my ASD (autism) son. He can squirm and rock while still sitting at his table and paying attention. I let them try it at school and they asked to keep it. I ordered another for home. My NT (neural typical) daughter also benefits from using it since she's also the type of kid who rocks in chairs. This chair won't tip, can be flipped over if you want it steady, and seems really safe. EXCEPT watch out for little toes and fingers underneath could get very hurt. And make sure to get the right height for your child. The preschool one is right for my average size 5 yo girl and my small 7yo boy but just a bit high for my 3yo to use.
