I use this when tutoring students, specifically on Sight Words. On each side I write a word. The student rolls the cube and should read the word that is on the top of the cube. If they get it right, they are permitted to erase that word . . . play until all words are gone. This kept my first graders engaged and was honestly their favorite part of our tutoring sessions. The cube is durable. I love the rubber corners.
Here's the problem . . . after using the cube a total of 5 tutoring sessions . . . the dry erase portion of the cube is "peeling" off . . . when students go to erase, it's like taking an eraser to a piece of paper too many times . . . it eventually rips. Just a bit disappointed.
