I am so lucky this year that I have so many parents who want to help and be involved in the classroom.  Unfortunately, I’m running out of things for them to do.  I have parents who actually come in for mystery reader, to help with copying, cutting out things, etc. and I also have parents who help out at home by fixing library books, etc.  Any other ideas for things that I can ask them to do? I don’t want them to think I don’t need the help and disappear! 😉  Thanks!

That’s awesome that you have so many parents willing to help! I have a Book Hospital where they repair library books, I also ask them to help sort and clean manipulatives that sometimes get messy, and if we’re doing a science experiment that day, I have them be my “lab assistant” and even have a lab coat for them to wear. The kids love seeing them participate!  Hope that helps!

I LOVE that idea, @jenna ! My parents would love to be lab assistants and it would force me to not skimp on the science experiments that my kiddos love.  Thank you for the idea!
