End Of The Year

MAY 2012 —Even though the last day of school is still many weeks away, you must begin now preparing children for the end of school, plan and execute a meaningful way to help them celebrate their accomplishments plus complete stacks of reports and mountains of paperwork-all while beginning to fold up your own tent for the summer.

We hear you! This issue of Classroom Connection is bursting with teacher-tested tips, hints, ideas, and activities for helping you stay calm, centered and focused as you move into the hurricane otherwise known as the end-of-school. We have ideas for memorable commencement events and last-day-of-school happenings, as well as organizational suggestions for sorting, stacking, and storing all your treasured classroom resources until next fall, when you'll start all over again!
