Circulation Manager
Under the general supervision of the Marketing Director, manages all circulation planning and analysis for the company’s catalog mailings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for management of all catalog circulation plans including proforma forecasting & selection/model criteria decisions at the list level
- Executes house-file and prospecting strategies for all catalog mailings; optimizing circulation and sales results through testing, segmentation and analysis
- Liaison with SAS Programming team to ensure accurate and timely execution of all mail plans. Compile and execute list orders, review counts, manage adjustments to completion of mailing.
- Active participant in budgeting and forecasting including formulating projection curves and sales forecasts
- Directs all contact with merge purge vendor to ensure all catalog mailings are executed correctly and as intended
- Conducts seasonal business unit analysis and list reviews, providing and presenting key trends and indicators for decision making
- Analyzes promotion and test results, measures profitability and makes recommendations for future strategies, tactics and testing.
- Track outside list costs and review vendor invoicing for approval.
- Analyzes and recommends new areas of markets for Company consideration.
- Determines seasonal trends, and maintains alertness for statistical inferences and variations in results.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel background; Access and PowerPoint experience a plus
- Knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide
- Strong analytical, detail-oriented and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business with a minimum 5 – 7 years direct marketing experience. Catalog experience a plus.
Director of Inside Sales
Really Good Stuff, Inc. is looking for a high energy, outgoing individual to build and manage an inside sales team and drive bulk sales of its supplemental products to volume purchase buyers at schools and school districts via outbound telephone and e-mail contacts. This hands-on position will also be responsible for developing and coordinating trade show participation strategy and utilizing our extensive in-house date base to drive sales in this channel. In addition, the Director of Inside Sales will be responsible for energizing and expanding bid sales. This position will report directly to the CEO.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Building a solid inside sales team that meets sales goals set by senior management.
- Overseeing the sales team on a daily basis, providing training and coaching as needed.
- Monitoring and reporting on sales metrics (ex. as maintained in Salesforce.com)
- Working with marketing to improve penetration of target markets through the testing of marketing and sales campaigns.
- Periodically servicing as an inside sales representative.
- Attending education trade shows on behalf of Really Good Stuff.
- Other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of 5-15 years experience in inside sales, and preferably 5 years sales management experience, in either the education industry or B to B enterprises.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to provide sales training and leadership to others.
- High energy level; flexible, adaptive, inquisitive and sales-oriented drive.
- Demonstrated experience in using a CRM tool (like Salesforce.com) to improve sales productivity.
- Willingness to travel.
- Knowledge of education market is a strong plus.
