About Us

A Really Good Start!
In 1992 four of us—owners Jon and Jim, artist Pat, and consultant Peter—were sitting around a kitchen table trying to think of a name for our new business providing fun-filled materials for schools. Inspiration struck, and Peter exclaimed, "How about Really Good Stuff?" The rest they say is (our) history.

Working side-by-side with educators, including inventive teachers who create their own classroom tools, we developed a catalog full of colorful, creative products for real teachers in real classrooms.

Right from the start, our goal has been to provide teachers like you with high quality, affordable, innovative tools to help you make a difference in children’s lives. By keeping our eye on that goal, we’ve continued to grow. Today, through our catalogs and website, we offer hundreds of new products each year to teachers across the U.S. and Canada.

Looking for Desktop Helper™ nameplates? Dry erase supplies? Curriculum support materials for ELA, math, science, social studies or S.T.E.M.? Really Good Stuff® has it all—plus over 500 proprietary teacher storage options to keep it all tidy and organized!

Supply Your District Or School
In 2012, we found a new way to meet teachers’ needs by establishing our District and School Administrator line. Through special catalogs, our website and dedicated sales reps, we offer many of our popular products in bulk to supply entire schools and districts at a discount. We also provide comprehensive curriculum kits and develop custom kits to meet specific district needs.

Early Childhood—Where The Love Of Learning Begins
In 2015, expansion continued when we launched our exciting new Early Childhood line. After exhaustively talking to childcare center directors, preschool teachers, administrators, and staff members around the country, the Really Good Stuff® Early Childhood team assembled an impressive product lineup.

Arts and crafts, music and movement, blocks, dramatic play, sand and water, rest time—we’ve got it covered! You’ll find so many imaginative ways to engage young learners and introduce core skills—all while keeping safety in mind. From seating to tricycles to hundreds of attractive and functional daycare furniture options, we have everything you need to create a child-centered environment where the very youngest students can learn and thrive.

Help Us Help You
Through all the growth and change, we remain dedicated to our original mission to offer products of real value to real teachers. With the help of teacher panels and customer input, our on-staff teachers develop exclusive teacher management tools, resources, and classroom teaching supplies designed specifically with you in mind. We welcome your feedback! Please email your ideas directly to co-owner Jon Sonneborn.
